Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026
This policy explains how Dynamic Online Ltd handles personal data through this website and in the course of providing our digital marketing services. Where we run marketing, advertising or analytics on behalf of a client, that client is the data controller and we act as their processor — see section 5.
1. Who we are
Dynamic Online Ltd is a digital marketing agency registered in England and Wales under company number 15070410, with its registered office at Suite 8 Stapleford Business Hub, Toton Lane, Nottingham, NG9 7JQ.
For the personal data described in this policy, Dynamic Online Ltd is the data controller. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). For any question about your data, or to exercise your rights, contact us at contact@dynamic-online.co.uk.
2. Who this policy is for
This policy covers personal data we handle as a controller: visitors to this website, people who contact us or request a consultation, newsletter subscribers, and our clients and prospective clients.
It does not cover personal data we process on behalf of our clients when delivering services — for example managing their advertising accounts or analytics. In those cases the client is the controller and their own privacy policy applies; our role is set out in section 5.
3. What we collect
- When you contact us: your name, email address, telephone number, company, and anything you tell us in your enquiry or during a consultation.
- If you subscribe to our newsletter: your email address.
- Client and supplier details: business contact information needed to provide our services and manage the relationship.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics with your consent.
4. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Responding to enquiries and providing consultations | Legitimate interests / steps prior to a contract |
| Providing our services and managing the client relationship | Performance of a contract |
| Sending our newsletter and marketing updates | Consent, or legitimate interests for existing business clients |
| Website analytics and improvement | Consent, given via our cookie banner |
| Accounting, tax and legal obligations | Legal obligation |
| Protecting our business against fraud or misuse | Legitimate interests |
5. When we act as a processor for clients
Much of our work involves handling personal data that belongs to our clients — for example running their Google or Meta advertising, managing their social media, or analysing their website traffic. In that work the client is the data controller and Dynamic Online Ltd is a data processor acting on their documented instructions.
Where we act as a processor, we put an appropriate data processing agreement in place, only use the data to deliver the agreed services, apply appropriate security measures, and do not use client data for our own purposes.
6. Who we share your information with
- Service providers who help us operate: our website host, email and newsletter provider, analytics provider, and cloud and productivity tools. They act on our instructions only.
- Advertising and analytics platforms (such as Google and Meta) where relevant to a service, subject to the appropriate agreements.
- Professional advisers such as our accountants, where necessary.
- Law enforcement, regulators or courts, where we are legally required to do so.
We do not sell your personal data.
7. Marketing
If you subscribe to our newsletter or agree to receive marketing, we will send occasional updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting contact@dynamic-online.co.uk. We will not pass your details to third parties for their own marketing.
8. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and consultation records for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client. Client records are kept for the duration of the relationship and for as long afterwards as we are required to for legal, accounting and tax purposes (generally at least six years). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to the settings in our analytics provider.
9. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to: obtain a copy of your data; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data erased; restrict or object to how we use it; receive it in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these, email contact@dynamic-online.co.uk. We will respond within one month. If your request concerns data we process on behalf of a client, we will direct you to that client, who is the controller.
10. Cookies
We use essential cookies to make the site work, and — only with your consent — analytics and marketing cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in our footer. Full detail is in our cookie policy.
11. Where your data is held
Your data is stored on servers within the UK or European Economic Area. Some of our suppliers — for example our analytics, advertising and email providers — may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
12. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first at contact@dynamic-online.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Where changes are significant we will say so clearly on the website.
